WellGen, Inc. is a privately financed company that received it first infusion of capital in 2000. Our lead investors are Rutgers University, UMDNJ (University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey) and Amphion Innovations (AIM: AMP.L), a developer of new technology and life science businesses.
In February 2006, WellGen completed a $3 million Series B financing. The Company has raised approximately $8 million of equity financing across three rounds (including this Series B round) from 2004-2006.
